Measure the belly height of your cat.
This is usually around 4 to 6 inches.

Wood Door Installation on reverse.
The cat fl ap will not operate if fi tted to a door
containing metal e.g. uPVC coated metal doors,
metal skin doors, or security doors. The cat fl ap
must be isolated from the metal with a piece of
wood. Draw a square 6

The fi xed tunnel is an integral part of
the mechanism and must not be cut
or damaged. Doing so will impede the
latching mechanism.

14

Temporarily tape open the cat fl ap. Sometimes
it helps for you to be on one side of the door
and your pet on the other. Use food or treats
to coax your pet through the open door. Let
the pet become familiar with passing through.
In time, remove the tape and let the fl ap hang
in the unlocked position.

15

Using the 4-Way lock.

Place collar
key on center of tunnel and push
fl ap. Do not force fl ap open with
magnet in hand. Fit hanging key
to your cat’s collar.
