Touch Screens
NOTE: The paired phone must
be compatible with the system
for this option.
Cancel – Press the Cancel button to
return to main device screen.
Modem (Optional)
Go to the second page of the setup
screen and press on the Modem Icon.
This screen will appear.
Modem Settings
SIGNAL STRENGTH: Shown by the
blue bars.
ROAMING STATUS: It will display
Home, Roam or No Service.
PHONE NUMBER: Phone number will
appear when device is activated. Field
will be blank if device is not activated.
ESN: Electronic Serial Number from
attached modem.
CONNECTION: This feature may
be used to manually Connect or
Disconnect service. Manually
disconnecting the modem is one
means to avoid roaming and will not
incur any roaming charges from the
service provider.
Press the Connect button. The system
will connect to the wireless network. If
connected, the Connect button will be
grayed out.
Press the Disconnect button. The
system will disconnect from the
wireless network. If disconnected, the
Disconnect button will be grayed out.

Keyboard
The keyboard display is available in
the following screens:

Phone Text Message
•
Navigation
•
Internet Browser
There are two keyboards available:
Alpha and Symbol Characters pressing
in an area that needs text entered.
The user can toggle between the two
keyboards by selecting the keyboard
selector toggle key.
