Operation
IMPORTANT: Before using your Human Hoist for work take a few minutes to
familiarize yourself with the controls and operation. Practice lowering and raising the
chair at different speeds using the throttle trigger to move fast and slow. Find and operate
the brake on each wheel, operate the headrest with the chair all the way down, and
practice rolling from one area to another.
WARNING: Never raise the chair beneath the work.
Be sure you’ve thoroughly read and understand all safety information before using
Human Hoist. The following operating instructions use the term “Human Hoist” and
“chair” interchangeably.
1.
Install one or both batteries. Fully charge and/or check the battery state of charge
before each use. Place the battery on the electrical enclosure and slide forward
firmly until it locks in place.

Survey the area around the Human Hoist, the area where you intend to use the
Human Hoist, and the path between. Be sure there are no obstructions on the
floor, or overhead hazards.
3.
Sit on the seat with your back against the backrest. Be sure your feet are on the
floor and not resting on the front wheel support.
