January = 01, October = 10), remove from the backing sheet and fix it to the appliance.

5 years: fix the label 2014), remove from the backing sheet and fix.

• Ensure that the detector has been connected to the mains for at least 1 minute.
• Spray test gas (not supplied) into the vents on the front panel of the appliance until the red LED
switches on and the buzzer sounds intermittently.
• Continue to spray the test gas, after around 30 seconds the relay is activated and closes the
solenoid valve (if connected).
4.i - CHECKING DETECTOR OPERATION
•
Stop spraying the gas into the detector vents and wait for a few seconds. The appliance
returns to "normal operating" status and all alarm signals are reset, the relay is deactivated
(fig. 3).
