PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
LPG OR NATURAL GAS (CH4) detectors contribute to guaranteeing the safety of civil premises in which gas-powered domestic
appliances such as boilers, cookers and boilers, are installed.
• LED indicators and alarm buzzer indicate the presence of gas concentrations in the air which are significantly below the lower
explosive limit (LEL).
•Sensor fitted with a special selective filter to prevent alarms caused by the presence of gas vapours not requiring detection, such as
cooking vapours, vapours from cleaning liquids, etc.
•The gas detectors are equipped with an output relay which controls a gas supply shut-off valve.

and maintenance. Keep the booklet in a safe place for future reference.
The installation and electrical connection
must be implemented only by a qualified electrician
of gas detectors and appliances
and in conformity with current laws and regulations.
Adequate positioning is essential for the optimum functioning of the detector: carefully follow the indications provided in
chapter “
” for increased accuracy and to prevent the occurrence of false alarms.
1.I - Installation Operations
• The appliance is suitable only for applications in household or similar environments. For applications in special environments, see
specific environmental standards. The appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed and any other use is
considered improper. The manufacturer declines any responsibility for injury or damage to persons, animals or property as a result
of improper use.
• Unpack the product from its box and ensure that it is complete.
• Before connecting the appliance, ensure correspondence between the product rating plate and the mains electricity/gas supply rating plates.
MAINTENANCE
• On a periodic basis (every 6 months), the user must carry out an operational test of the detector by spraying test gas into the
vents on the front panel of the appliance, in order to activate the detector alarm (read the indications provided in chapter 4.i -
CHECKING DETECTOR OPERATION).
• It is advisable to arrange for a more detailed check to be carried out on an annual basis by specialist personnel.
• Five years after installation, the detector must be taken out of service by qualified personnel.
