
No modifications or additions should
be made by the user which will either
prevent the seat belt adjusting de
vices from operating to remove slack,
or prevent the seat belt assembly
from being adjusted to remove slack.
Do not allow anyone to use the shoul
der belt If It crosses above the chest
or near the neck or face.
Never wear the shoulder belt under
your outer arm or behind your back.
Do not recline the seatback more
than needed.
Do not fasten the seat belt over hard
or fragile objects, such as eye
glasses, jewelery, pens, and keys.
Do not wear the seat belt on heavy
clothing. It could prevent proper
positioning of the belt.
Do not modify or disassemble the
system.
If the seat belt system has been sub
jected to a severe impact, have It
replaced by an authorized Perodua
Service Centre, even if damage is
not obvious.
CAUTION
Take care not to damage the seat belt
webbing or hardware by pinching in
the seat, door etc.
Cleaning may safely be carried out
using mild soap or lukewarm water.
Never use bleach, dye, or abrasive
cleaners.
They may severely damage the belt.
Do not remove the belt when cleaning.
Retractthe belt after drying thoroughly.
3-point emergency lock retractor
To fasten belt
Pull the seat belt from the retractor and insert
the tongue plate into the buckle until it clicks.
WARNING
For full restraint, make sure, after In
serting the tongue plate, the connec
tion is secure and the belt Is not twisted.
