Introduction
This fault diagnosis chart covers mechanical defects which may occur with the engine. It must be used in
conjunction with electronic service tools (TIPSS-EST).
To locate problems within the engine and its systems, refer to the Diagnostic Manual (TSL 4233).
Caution: Do not use mobile phones within 2 meters of the engine as the transmitted signal can affect the
electronic management system.
