Discharging the device before maintenance
•
Switch off the device and unplug it from the mains.
•
Use a screwdriver with an insulated handle. Make sure you only hold the screwdriver by the handle.
•
Short-circuit the 2 wires of the inner metal grid by gently touching them simultaneously with the metal shaft
of the screwdriver. A spark may arise. Repeat this manipulation until no more sparks arise.

Fitting a new lamp
•
Disconnect the insect killer from the mains.
•
Loosen the two screws on the upper side of the protective grid at the back of the device.
•
Open the protective grid and replace the lamp: unscrew the lamp and turn until the pins are aligned with the
holes in the socket. Pull the lamp out of the socket. Operate in reverse direction to install a new lamp.
c.
Cleaning the tray
•
Discharge the device.
•
Remove the tray by sliding it out of the device.
•
Clean the tray with a brush.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
1. All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
2. The housing and its accessories should not be deformed.
3. Moving mechanic parts must not show any signs of wear and tear.
4. The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain the device.
5. Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
6. Wipe the device regularly with a brush. Do not use water, alcohol or solvents.
7. Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
