6. Operation
Read and understand all warning and precaution statements listed in the safety
section of this manual before operating. Set the function selector switch in the
OFF position when the meter is not in use.

AC Current Measurement
Ensure that the test leads are disconnected from the
meter before making current measurements.
o
Set the function switch to an A range. If the
measurement range is not known, select the
highest range and move to the lower range if
necessary.
o
Press the lever to open the jaw. Fully enclose the conductor to be measured.
o
Read the displayed value.
