7. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
7.1 Maintenance
CAUTION!
During maintenance and care work, all pumps must be switched off
so that no suction is possible.
It is very important not to damage the texture of the ground or polished surface
when cleaning products made of stainless steel. The use of pickling agents and
mechanical tools for surface cleaning can lead to a loss of anti-corrosion
properties. Do not bring carbon steel into contact with stainless steel.
Depending on the type and concentration of the substance in the water, pink spots
may appear
These areas can be treated quickly and easily with a special cleaning and polishing
pad. The limits for chlorides must be observed for the correct operation of
stainless steel components:
max. chloride (Cl) content in water up to 30ºC is 500 mg / l or 0,08 % salt
The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage caused by exceeding the
maximum chloride content of the pool.
Check the suction basket inside the skimmer regularly and clean it if there is
visible dirt.
In indoor swimming pools there are higher concentrations of substances that can
cause corrosion, so it is recommended to clean the pool more often.
If possible, we recommend a maintenance contract with your local pool cleaning
specialist.
