Error Behaviour
7.2
Analog Output Error Behaviour
"Output Value Freeze" Function
If the damping element is outside of the measuring range (3) or completely removed from the
sensor, the last measured position value within the set measuring range is output.
Note!
This section only applies to devices with analog output. The following diagrams apply for the
parameterization of the outputs as current output or as voltage output.
The "Analog Output Error Behaviour" can be set in the
Parameter
menu item, "Analog Signal"
section. This section includes the adjustment options described below. See chapter 10.2.3 in
the list of parameters. The upper and lower output value correspond to the limit values for
current I or voltage U in the menu item in the "Analog Signal" section.
AO: analog output in volts/mA
AD.SP1: position value range limit 1
AD.SP2: position value range limit 2
1: lower limit of detection range
2: no damping element detected
3: outside of the measuring range
4: upper limit of detection range
Note!
■
If no damping element has been measured after switching on the sensor, the
parameterized value for I or U (AD.SP1) for position 0 mm is output.
■
AD.SP2 < AD.SP1 does not invert the properties. This can be set using the
Analog
Output
menu item.
