5.2
Resetting the Alarm Signal
Distinction is drawn between two types of alarm signals:
Past-event alarm
Real-time alarm
Resetting a Past-Event Alarm
Prerequisites:
The "RESET ALARM FUNCTION" DIP switch is set to ON.
The "SYSTEM OK" LED is flashing.
1. Press the "ALARM RESET" button.
The alarm signal is reset. The "SYSTEM OK" LED goes out.
2. Check the status of the container or tank and the sensor. See chapter 6.
The cause of the alarm has not yet been rectified. The alarm status may
reoccur.
Resetting a Real-Time Alarm
Prerequisites:
The "RESET ALARM FUNCTION" DIP switch is set to ON.
The "SENSOR FAILURE" and/or "ALARM" LEDs are illuminated.
1. Press the "ALARM RESET" button.
The volt-free relay contact and the audible alarm are reset. The "SENSOR
FAILURE" and/or "ALARM" LEDs are still illuminated.
2. Check the status of the container or tank and the sensor. See chapter 6.
The cause of the alarm has not yet been rectified. If the "REPEAT ALARM
IN 24 HOURS" DIP switch is set to ON, the alarm is repeated after 24 hours.
See chapter 4.
3. Rectify the cause of the alarm or fault. See chapter 6.
The "SENSOR FAILURE" and/or "ALARM" LEDs go out.
