5.1
Sensor test
Frequency of the test
The sensor is maintenance-free. However, to ensure the proper function of the entire alarm
system, test the function of the sensor at least twice a year, or more frequently under difficult
ambient conditions.
Checking the normal situation
1.
Remove the sensor from the oil/petrol separator.
2.
Wash and dry the sensor.
3.
Hold the sensor in your hand.
The "SYSTEM OK" LED lights up or flashes on the warning device.
Checking the alarm situation
1.
Remove the sensor from the oil/petrol separator.
2.
Wash and dry the sensor.
3.
Suspend the sensor freely in midair.
The "ALARM" LED lights up and an acoustic signal (if present) sounds.
