Connections

Connection to the Fieldbus Segments

The stand-alone Diagnostic Motherboard supports the connection to up to four Fieldbus segments. Wire
the segment connections of the stand-alone Diagnostic Motherboard in parallel to the segment output
lines (trunks) of your Fieldbus power supplies.

Connection to the Bulk Power Supply

If monitoring of the bulk supply of the Fielbus power supplies is desired, connect the Stand-alone
Diagnostic Motherboard in parallel to the same bulk power supply as the Fieldbus power supplies.
