You can compensate the “red-eye” in flash pictures.

Enter the playback mode and use the four-way
controller (

) to choose the image you want to
correct.

The Playback Mode Palette appears.

A confirmation dialog for overwriting the
image appears.

to select [Overwrite] or [Save as].
If the image is protected, a confirmation
screen does not appear. The image is
automatically saved with a new file name.

The edited image is saved with the same number of recorded pixels
and quality level as the original.
Red-eye Compensation
• The red-eye compensation function cannot be used on movies or
on images where red eyes cannot be detected on the camera. An
error message appears in Step 4.
• The red-eye compensation can be used for still images taken with
this camera. However, it cannot be used for images taken in
A
(Digital Panorama) or with the 16-frame shooting function.
