7.2.2 Determining the air content in the head gas
Read the general method and follow the instructions below for the following uses.
1. Checking the filling unit
=>
Do not shake the bottle or can. Close the needle valve in time to prevent the lye from
entering the bottle or can.
2. Correcting the CO
2
calculation
=> Shake the bottle or can beforehand . Close the needle valve in time to prevent beer from
flowing into the lye.
7.2.3 Determining the total air content in a bottle or can
Read the general method and follow the instructions below for the following use.
3. Determining the total air content
=> Do not initially shake the bottle or can. Allow the head gas to escape and then shake the
bottle or can immediately, together with the ICM-2000, and then allow the gas to escape again.
Repeat this until no more gas is released.
