Operation
5.1.
Recommendations
• Use only regenerate salts designed for water softening EN973;
• for optimal system operation, the use of clean salt free from impurities is recommended (for example salt pellets);
• do not use ice melt, block, or rock salts;
• the sanitizing process (both with liquid and electrochlorination) introduces chlorine elements which may reduce the lifetime
of the ion exchange resins. Refer to the technical guides for resins in common use, providing necessary checks on the
system.

This controller doesn’t have error code.

Maintenance
Mandatory:
Cleaning and maintenance shall take place at regular intervals in order to guarantee the proper
functioning of the complete system, and be documented in the Maintenance record book.
Mandatory:
The maintenance and service operation must be done by qualified personnel only. Failure in respecting this
may void the warranty.

Troubleshooting
Please follow this procedure for any technical support:

Collect the required information for a technical assistance request.

Contact your local dealer who installed this device (see contact details on last page).

Also call him if the water tastes salty, if the water is not softened or if there is no salt consumption.

Lift the transparent disc (

Push the pins (

) out to set up.
Note:
There are two time clock wheels:
• 7 days: based on the week, number 1 will refer to Monday,
number 7 to Sunday;
• 12 days: allows to set a regular interval every 2, 3, 4 or 6 days.
Note:
Example for the following drawing, the regeneration will
occurs on Monday and Thursday.

Turn the control knob (
