Install the Everpure 4CB5 Filter Cartridge
Locate the 4CB5 Filter Cartridge and inspect the o-rings.
They should be clean and lightly lubricated with silicone
grease.
1. Line up the tabs with the slots in the opening on the front
right side of the head assembly. See Figure 6 and
Figure 7.
2. Insert the cartridge to full depth.
3. Rotate the cartridge 90
0
to the right (clockwise) to lock it
in place.
Install the Everpure 4CC Mineral Cartridge
Locate the 4CC Cartridge and inspect the o-rings. They
should be clean and lightly lubricated with silicone grease.

front side of the head assembly. See Figure 6 and
Figure 7.
2. Insert the cartridge to full depth.
3. Rotate the cartridge 90

to the right (clockwise) to lock it
in place.
Storage Tank
The storage tank will hold approximately 1 gallon (3.8 L) of
product water. The tank air pressure is preset to 24 psi (1.65
bar, 0.16 Mpa) when shipped via ground transportation. For
air shipments the precharge is completely removed. Check
the tank air pressure. Ensure that the tank has 24 psi (1.65
bar, 0.16 Mpa) of precharge upon installation. Add air if
needed. Tank pressure may be checked using an air pressure
gauge on the air valve at the bottom of the tank.
Locate the valve at the top of the tank and turn OFF until
instructed to open it.
PUTTING THE SYSTEM INTO OPERATION
CAUTION: If wall mounted, make certain the unit is firmly
attached to wall to prevent it from falling and
possibly becoming damaged.
NOTE: The Everpure Conserv 75E System does not produce
a high volume of water on-demand as an ordinary
filter does. Water is produced at a slow, drop-by-
drop rate. The system requires about 30 minutes to
fill the storage tank. As water is taken from the tank,
the system automatically starts the cycle of replacing
the water and then stops water production when the
tank is full.
There are several steps that must be followed to properly
place the Conserv 75E System into operation before the
supply water is turned ON.

1. The incoming water shut-off valve should be in the
closed position.
2. The electrical switch must be in the off position
3. Locate the quick-connect tee fitting on the 4FC5-S Filter
Cartridge head. Remove the plug by pressing in on the
collar and pulling out on the plug. Save the plug to be
reinstalled later.
4. Cut a length of 3/8" (9.5 mm ) long enough to connect
the flush port to a drain. Push one end of the tubing, 5/8"
(16 mm), into the quick-connect fitting. The other end is
secured at a drain.
5. The power to the Conserv 75E RO System must remain
off. Turn the incoming water shut-off to OPEN. Water will
flush through the 4FC5-S Cartridge to the drain.
6. Flush the cartridge for five (5) minutes. Then CLOSE the
incoming water shut-off valve.
7. Remove the temporary tubing from the flush port.
Reinsert the plug that was removed in Step 3.
