6.0 - Troubleshooting
SYMPTOM

Heater fails to ignite
1. Cylinder’s gas valve closed

1. Disassemble, thoroughly clean unit and LPG
filter
2. Possible overfilled LP bottle or using liquid
withdrawal bottle. Replace with vapor draw style
bottle
3. Relocate heater so the wind comes behind
the unit
Heater extinguishes on
low setting
1. Control valve turned beyond low
position
2. Dirty orifice
3. Inadequate gas pressure
1. Adjust valve to proper range
2. Clean orifice
3. Increase to 11” WC on high setting
