3. Grease the reducer with the grease gun (20g grease

maximum) recommended by PELLENC (reference:

74588 (supplied with the hedge trimmer blade or ref-

erence: 115174).

4. Refit the screw.

5. Tighten to torque using a T25 torque screwdriver.

Note

Tightening torque: 3 N.m.

Note

The hedge trimmer blade reducer must be greased after the first 25 hours of operation and every 50 hours

thereafter.

 

6.7. SHARPENING THE BLADES

Caution

Always disconnect the hedge trimmer from the battery before working on the blades.

Caution

Wear protective gloves when working on the blades.

Danger of accidental cuts.

Sharpen the blades a little but often. Regularly check how

sharp the blades are for the first few hours to determine

the required frequency of sharpening.

Ensure the blade is at a 45° angle during sharpening.
