2. SAFETY
• The Convertor Convertor 12V/43V is a professional tool whose use is reserved exclusively for working with Olivium
or Olivion PELLENC.
• The PELLENC company accepts no responsibility for any damage caused by improper or unspecified use different
from its original intention.
• The PELLENC company accepts no responsibility for any damage caused by the use of non-original parts or
accessories.
2.1. SAFETY MEASURES ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF THE CONVERTOR
1. When in operation, the convertor’s temperature can reach 60°C. No flammable material must be within 1.5
metres of the convertor and battery.
2. Do not introduce any metal objects into the convertor such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other
small metal objects likely to short circuit its components.
3. Place the equipment out of children’s reach and onto a non-combustible support.
4. Do not interfere with its cooling cycle.
5. Do not use or leave the convertor near a heat source (> 45°C).
6. Do not leave the convertor in direct, strong sunlight.
7. Do not expose the convertor to microwaves or high pressure.
8. Do not immerse the convertor in water.
9. The convertor must be protected against shock and must be positioned and secured during transport phases.
10. In the event of suspicious fumes, place the convertor outside the premises or vehicle as far from any combustible
material as possible.
11. If the output cord is torn or damaged, bring the entire convertor back to the authorised distributor it was pur-
chased from.
12. Do not use the convertor for any application other than that for which it was initially intended (exclusive use
of the Pellenc Olivium or Olivion).
13. At the end of its life, the convertor must be returned to the authorised distributor it was purchased from to be
recycled in compliance with waste regulations.
14. Do not use in the rain.
15. Fragile plastic case.
16. Always attach the convertor to the top of the 12V battery using its strap.
17. Always hold the alligator clips by their insulating parts to prevent the risk of burning.
18. Risk of short circuit, observe the correct polarity during the connection.
