FAULTS
Symptom
Possible cause
Solution
The burner does not burn
evenly.
Burner parts fitted incorrectly.
Assemble the burner parts
using centring bosses.
Burner parts dirty or damp.
Clean / dry the burner parts.
Check to see whether the
outflow holes are open.
Wrong type of gas used.
Check that the gas used is
suitable for the appliance. If
not, contact your gas fitter.
The burner goes out after
igniting.
Control knob not kept
depressed for long enough.
Keep the control knob
depressed for at least
5 seconds.
Fault code ‘b’.
The burner is locked.
Unlock the burner, see
page 11.
Fault code ‘Flt0A’, all burners
are locked.
There is no gas supply.
Restore the gas connection
and unlock the burners.
Fault code ‘Flt06’.
You have attempted to unlock
a burner up to 5 times within
a period of 15 minutes.
You are not permitted to
make any further attempts
at unlocking the burner for a
further 15 minutes.
Fault code ‘Flt09’.
A burner is switched off due
to an unknown fault.
Unlock the burner.
