7 Installation instructions
Space to be left free around the appliance
A hob generates heat. Leave a suffi cient distance between the appliance and non heat-
resistant materials. Take care also with materials that may discolour (such as stainless steel).

The gas hob may only be built in next to one wall.
Caution!
The bottom of the hob becomes hot. Do not place combustible items in a drawer if the
drawer is fi tted directly below the hob.
Install appliance and make connections
•
Place the appliance in the worktop and secure it using the mounting brackets and
screws supplied.
•
Connect to the gas supply.
•
Check with soap suds that the connection is gastight.
•
Connect the appliance to mains electricity.
