9. Stand next to the bench grinder when you turn 

on the power, do not stand in front.

10. Allow a new sanding pad to rotate for one mi

-

nute before use to ensure it is in good condition. 

11. Do not use the bench grinder with the wheel 

guard off.

12. Do not use the grinding wheels for cutting pur

-

poses.

13. Do not overload the machine.

14. Use a wheel aligner to remove burrs from the 

grinding wheel.

15. Maintain a distance between the spark plug 

and the grinding wheel of less than 1.6 mm

Assembly

Install eye protection, spark arrestor and tool 

 

support using the screws provided.

Be sure to place both tool supports and spark 

arrestors no more than 1.6 mm (1/6 ”) from the 

edge of the grinding wheel.

It is advisable to secure the bench grinder on the 

workbench or stand.

Operation

1. After turning on the bench grinder, you must 

reach full speed before starting grinding.

2. The eye protection can be adjusted and positio

-

ned so that the operator gets a clear picture of the 

work through the protection.

3. Appropriate adjustment of the tool support 

 

provides the right working angle for efficient 

 

grinding. Since the diameter of the sanding pulley 

is subject to wear, it will be necessary to adjust 

the tool support racks to maintain the correct gap 

of less than 1.6 mm (1/6 ”) with the edge of the 

sanding pulley.

Removal and replacement of the grinding 

wheels

To remove and replace grinding wheels, follow 

these steps:

(a) Disconnect the power cord.

(b) Remove the outer cover, left and right.

(c) Hold the grinding wheel firmly, remove the nut 

and flange from the shaft with a wrench. observe 

that the left wheel nut is left-handed and the right-

hand wheel nut is right-handed.

(d) Remove the old disc and replace it with the new 

one.

(e) Fit flange, nut and outer casing.

(f) Let the sander run for one minute to ensure that 

the grinding wheel is not out of balance before 

starting grinding.
