Changing the angle of the saw arm.
This saw arm can be adjusted to the left 0 - 60° and
to the right 0 - 45°. If you want to make an angle
sawing, release the locking knob (A) Fig. 17, then
turn the saw arm to the desired angle and then
tighten the locking knob (A). If you want to do a left
angle sawing for more than 30°, it is better to move
the anvil to the right, there is a pre-drilled hole for
mounting the anvil.
Change speeds and adjust the tension of the
drive belt.
1. Disconnect the machine from the power
source before changing speeds and adjusting
the tension on the drive belt.
2. Correct belt tension, with the help of a light
finger pressure the belt can be pressed down
0.65 cm at the central tension of the pulleys. To
adjust the belt tension, use a wrench to loosen
the belt tension bolt and lock nut Fig. 18, turn it
clockwise to increase the tension and
counterclockwise to decrease the tension.
Tighten the locknut, after the correct tension
has been reached. IMPORTANT: The belt
tension has been preset at the factory.
When changing the speed, release the belt tension
and open the belt guard (C) Fig. 19. Speeds of 23,
34 and 54 meters per minute are available on your
band saw. When the belt is on the largest stage in
the motor pulley (A) Fig. 19 and the smallest stage
on the gearbox pulley (B), the speed of the blade
is 54 meters per minute. When the belt is on the
smallest step on the engine pulley (A) and the
largest step on the gearbox pulley (B), the speed is
23 meters per minute. When changing speed,
release the belt tension first. After obtaining the
desired speed, adjust the belt tension and replace
the belt guard (C).

of the belt on the engine and gearbox pulley for
most common materials sawn on the metal band
saw.
