Installing the lace guide
Remove screw

. Install the lace guide by referring to sequence

in the illustration on the right.

Always turn off the power, unplug the machine and then well-
qualified technicians should lubricate the machine.
Put grease on the clutch and the bearing before they lack the
grease.
To put grease on the clutch
Turn the machine pulley until mark
A
is aligned with mark
B
.
Remove screw

. Then put the proper amount of grease on the
clutch.
To put grease on the bearing
Remove screw

. Then put the proper amount of grease on the
bearing.
Adjusting the lace guide (lower)

Bring lace guide (lower)

as close to the needles as possible.
Check that lace guide (lower)

does not contact the spreader.
Adjustment is made by loosening screw
