Trouble-shooting 

 

Below  are  the

 

possible  causes  or  remedies  of  some  common  problems.  Do  not 

attempt to dismantle and repair the product by yourself. This will invalidate your 
warranty. If the problem persists, please call our technical support hotline. 
 

Symptom 

Try this 

No  response  upon  the  On/Off 

Switch button is pressed 

 

Make sure the battery of Easy Pen is fully charged 

 

Try to connect Easy Pen with your computer with 

the USB cable 

No  response  when  pointing  to 

the book content 

 

Make sure you have used the correct book 

 

Make sure book pages are free from dirt 

 

Switch off Easy Pen and then on again 

 

Try to import the relevant audio files into Easy Pen 

again 

 

Press ‘Reset’ button 

 

Synchronize the software with Pearson Easy Pen 

Connector 

No  signals  or  no  sounds 

suddenly 

 

Switch off Easy Pen and then on again 

 

Make sure the battery of Easy Pen is fully charged 

 

Try to import the data into Easy Pen again 

 

Adjust the volume 

 

Press ‘Reset’ button 

 

Synchronize the software with Pearson Easy Pen 

Connector 

Easy  Pen  does  not  turn  on  or 

does not respond 

 

Make sure the On/Off Switch is pressed
