Fire / Explosion Hazards
•
Never operate the Heater/Defroster near flammable materials or flammable gases, vapors or fumes.
•
Insert the 12-volt DC adapter power plug as far into the 12-volt DC cigarette lighter/accessory
socket as possible. Twist the plug slightly to ensure good contact is made. Poor contact may damage
the 12-volt DC adapter power plug and/or the Heater/Defroster, and result in poor performance and
possibly a fire.
•
Never allow the Heater/Defroster to be exposed to fire, direct flame or high-heat sources.
•
Never block the Heater/Defroster air inlet vent/fan or heat outlet vent.
•
Always operate the Heater/Defroster in a well-ventilated area.
•
Never place objects or materials in the Heater/Defroster air inlet vent/fan or heat outlet vent.
•
Never operate the Heater/Defroster while unattended.
•
Secure the Heater/Defroster in a solid manner before operating in a permanent mount manner.
•
Never allow the 12-volt DC adapter power cord to come near the heat outlet vent.
Burn Hazards
•
Never touch the Heater/Defroster vents when the Heater/Defroster is operating.
•
Do not place any body part or any materials near or directly in front of the Heater/Defroster heat
outlet vent when the Heater/Defroster is operating.

level hazards. Failure to comply
could result in personal property damage.
•
Always turn the Heater/Defroster off and disconnect the 12-volt DC adapter power plug from the
power supply when not in use.
•
Do not disassemble the Heater/Defroster or remove any parts. This Heater/Defroster contains no
serviceable or replaceable parts.
•
Clean the Heater/Defroster regularly (see page 7 for care instructions).
