The operator of this device is obliged to
ensure that every other person using this
device has read and understood the
manual. Only qualified users are permitted
to operate the device.

Please be careful if the measurement
exceeds 30V AC. There is the danger of
getting an electric shock with this kind of
voltage. Since life-threatening voltage can
be tested with the device, extra care is
required and please adhere to all relevant
safety requirements. Do not measure
voltage, which exceeds the defined max.
values on the device or in this manual.

Always test the device’s functionality on a
known circuit first. If it is not working
properly, stop using the device immediately.
•
Never use the device if: the device is
damaged, the tip is broken, the display is
not lit / does not work.
•
Never look directly into the LED flashlight of
the device. Non-compliance bears the risk
of permanently damaging your eyesight.
•
Please comply with the local and national
safety code. Wear personal protection
equipment to prevent any injury. Do not use
the instrument around explosive gas,
steam, or in an wet environment.

When low battery
is indicated, please
replace the battery in time to prevent of any
measurement error, electric shock, or injury.

When using the tester, please put your
fingers behind the anti-slip guard.
•
Opening, repairing, or maintenance should
only be executed by qualified professionals.
•
Attention:
even without any indication on
the device, voltage could be still present.
The device shows the effective voltage,
when a voltage supply generates an
intense enough electro-static field. If the
field is too weak, the device cannot detect
the presence of voltage. The existence of
voltage is affected by various factors, e.g.
shielded wires/cables and insulation type.
