To Compress RG6 and RG59 Connectors

1.  Press cable and insert fully into connector.  Open tool handle. (Fig. 1)

2.  Tilt connector so that center conductor fits into hole in

compression tip. (Fig. 2) Once connector is seated on
compression tip, press down on top of spring loaded fingers with
cable causing fingers to separate.  Pass cable through both sets
of fingers, so that fingers are fully closed around cable.

3.  Slowly close tool (Fig. 3) making sure that connector seats

inside counter-bored surface on finger face (Fig. 4).  Check to
make sure fingers are closed around connector before continuing.

4.  Slowly close tool until stops touch at end of handles. (Fig. 5)

Once cycle is completed, open tool. (Fig. 1)

With tool open, position compressed connector between
fingers and end of compression tip. (Fig. 6)  Lift cable up to
remove compressed connector from tool.  Take care not to
bend the center conductor during the removal process.  Check
center conductor for any distortion prior to use.  If you have a
problem removing cable, you may use the manual finger
release on the bottom of the tool. (Fig. 6)

To Compress RG7 and RG11 Connectors

1.  Follow the same procedures shown above, with the exception

of compression finger location.  To compress the connector,
use the RG7/11 finger location.  (Fig. 7)

Reminder:

  Position compressed connector between fingers

and end of tip before removing connector from the tool
