Problem 

Cause and solution 

Camera does not switch on 

- no battery inserted or inserted incorrectly 
→ insert the battery properly  
 
- battery voltage too low 
→ change battery or recharge it 
 
- device in energy-saving mode 
→Restart the device 

Instrument switches itself off  automatically 

- flat battery 
→change / recharge battery 

Battery discharges itself quickly 

- ambient temperature too high or low 
- battery not completely charged 
- working life of battery is exceeded (300 charges) 
→insert new battery 

No thermal image 

lens cover closed 
→remove lens cover
