4.1
Internal mode
In the internal measuring mode, you can adjust the frequency, the flash duration and the flash
delay on your own.
4.1.1
Adjust the unit
By pressing the “Hz” key, you can change the unit:
Hz [1/s]
FPM [1/min]
4.1.2
Adjust the frequency
You can adjust the frequency by using the following keys:
“x 2”
double the frequency / FPM
Example: 50 Hz
→100 Hz → 200 Hz
“/ 2”
halve the frequency / FPM
Example: 200 Hz
→ 100 Hz → 50 Hz
“up”
Single keystroke increases the flash frequency by 0.1.
Press and hold the key to increase the frequency in intervals of 1.
FPM indication: Press and hold for more than 3 seconds to increase the
frequency in intervals of 10. If you press and hold the key for more than 6
seconds, the frequency will be increased in steps of 100.
“down” Single keystroke decreases the frequency by 0.1
Press and hold the key to decrease the frequency in intervals of 1.
FPM indication: Press and hold for more than 3 seconds to decrease the
frequency in intervals of 10. If you press and hold the key for more than 6
seconds, the frequency will be decreased in steps of 100.
ATTENTION:
If the multiplication or division of the frequency results in a value beyond the
frequency range (60 … 120000 FPM), the highest or lowest possible value
will be selected automatically.
