Using the keyboard
Apart from the usual keys your keyboard has an extra 8 which are used with a
web browser apart from the Sleep key. They have the following functions:
Back key:
Pressing this key will let you return to the last viewed
page.
Forward key:
Pressing this key will let you go forward to the
next page (when available)
Stop key:
Pressing this key will let your browser stop the
current loading of a page.
Search key:
Pressing this key will start a search engine for
the internet.
Web/Home key:
Pressing this key will start up your browser
and/or startup your selected home page (please refer to internet
explorer for more information on how to set/modify this home
page address).
Refresh key:
Pressing this button will Refresh your current
web page.
Mail key:
Pressing this key will automatically startup your
favourite e-mail application (e.g Microsoft Outlook). You can select
Tools-> Internet Options-> Programs-> Email to change the default
settings of internet Explorer.
Favourites key:
Pressing this button will let you choose from
your list of favourite web addresses.
Calculator key:
Pressing this button willactivate the calculator.
My Computer key:
Pressing this button will bring up the My
Computer window.
