Select the Subnet Mask option, input the
Subnet Mask, and press the “Enter” button.
Select the Gateway IP option, input the
Gateway IP, and press the “Enter” button.
Select the DNS IP option, input the DNS IP,
and press the “Enter” button.
If the broadcast SSID is disabled on the
access point, the terminal will not display the
SSID on the available Wi-Fi network list. You
will have to manually configure the terminal
for a Static connection.
Wi-Fi Static IP Setup
(SSID Not Visible)
If you are required to setup a Wi-Fi connection with
a static IP and you know that the SSID is not visible,
perform the steps in this section.
Before you begin configuration, ensure that you
have the correct network information; IP Address,
Subnet mask, Gateway ID, passwords, etc.
Perform Steps 1 through 6 as shown in Section
8.1 D220 Basic Wi-Fi Setup.
After selecting the Wi-Fi parameters option
(Step 6), use the Right Arrow on the screen,
navigate to and select the SSID option.
Input the SSID of the desired network.
Select the Security option, select the
appropriate security type for your network and
input the case sensitive Wi-Fi network
password.
Select the DHCP Type option and select Static.
Select the IP Address option and input the IP
Address, and press the “Enter” button.
