Button “Temp 1“ 

->  Temperature switching threshold [X1] 

 

 

 

- keypress < 3 s = current switching threshold is displayed 

 

 

- keypress > 3 s = programming mode (display flashes) 

 

 

- setting range -15°C…50°C, increment: 0,5 K 

 
 

Button “Temp 2“ 

->  Time[t] (time interval) 

 

- keypress < 10 s = current unit of time is displayed (sec.) 

 

- keypress > 10 s = programming mode (display flashes) 

  

- setting range 1 - 100 s, increment: 1 s. 

 
 

Button “Hyst.“ 

->  Hysteresis [H] to temperature switching threshold 

 

 

 

- keypress < 10 s = current hysteresis is displayed 

 

 

- keypress > 10 s = programming mode (display flashes) 

 

 

- setting range 0,3…5 K, increment: 0,1 K 

 
2.1.1.2 Setting of temperature switching threshold and switching times 

 

After setting the operation mode using the DIP switches, the temperature thresholds have to be set via the 
control buttons. The relevant thresholds can be changed according to the mode of operation. 
When the cover is open the set values are displayed by a short keypress of the respective keys for 3 s. 
The programming mode can accessed by a long keypress (display flashes) and the setpoint can be changed 
by pressing the “

+

 

or “

-

” buttons. The value, that has been changed using the method above, is saved 

automatically if no button is pressed. The display shows the temperature after 3s. The current measured 
temperature of sensor NTC1 is now displayed.

Note: 

The predefined parameters for H and t should only be changed in exceptional cases (bad control 

response), e.g. when the temperature can not be stabilized. According to experience, increasing time [t] or 
hysteresis [H] can help improving the control response.
