DISCONNECTION
1
Caution!
Before disconnection:
Switch off and unplug compressor.
Release output pressure by fully rotating
the pressure regulator counterclockwise.
1
TESTING THE SAFETY VALVE
Switch on the compressor. When pres-
surized rotate the unloading nut of the
safety valve
and pull the valve rod
until you hear escaping air. Re-tighten
nut.
Never use the compressor, if air leaks
after releasing or if the valve is stuck.
INCREASING THE OUTPUT PRESSURE
1
Turn the pressure regulator
clock-
wise. The pressure gauge
shows the
output pressure.
Warning!
Do not exceed the pres-
sure given in the manual of the con-
nected tool or inflatable equipment.
DRAINING THE TANK
Make sure, the compressor is switched
off. Rotate the unloading nut of the
safety valve
and pull the valve rod to
release any residing pressure.
Put a container under the drain valve
and rotate the drain valve slowly coun-
ter-clockwise.
1
2
Rotate drain valve
clockwise until
tightly closed.
Dispose of the drained condensate in
compliance with local regulations.
2
Firmly hold the end of the coiled hose.
Retract the retaining sleeve and pull out
the connector.
Have the safety valve replaced at your
HORNBACH-Store.
Warning!
Use of a compressor with
defective safety valve can result in
death or serious personal injury.
REDUCING THE OUTPUT PRESSURE
2
Turn the pressure regulator
counter-
clockwise to reduce the output pres-
sure. Wait, until the pressure gauge
shows the desired pressure.
3
Press the latch of the adaptor hose
to disconnect the nozzle.
