Important. Due to the high risk of bodily injury to the
user, the lawn mower may not be used to trim
bushes, hedges or shrubs, to cut scaling vegetation,
planted roofs, or balcony-grown grass, to clean (suck
up) dirt and debris off walkways, or to chop up tree or
hedge clippings. Moreover, the lawn mower may not
be used as a power cultivator to level out high areas
such as molehills.
For safety reasons, the lawn mower may not be used
as a drive unit for other work tools or toolkits of any
kind, unless they have been expressly permitted by
the manufacturer.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed
purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of
misuse. The user / operator and not the

of any kind caused as a result of this.

6. Before starting the equipment
The lawn mower is delivered unassembled. The
complete push bar and the grass basket must be
assembled before using the lawn mower. Follow the
operating instructions step-by-step and use the
pictures provided as a visual guide to easily
assemble the machine.
Mounting the push bar (Fig. 3 to 10)
Take the push bar brackets and insert them into the
two respective openings (Fig. 3). Attach the push bar
brackets as shown in Fig. 4, using the screws
provided.
The lower push bar then has to be slid onto the push
bar bracket (Fig. 5). Important. Do not forget to first
insert the stress-relief clip (Fig. 5/Item 1) onto the
lower push bar.
Screw the tubes together, using the screws supplied
(A), the plastic parts (B) and the hand wheel (C).
Now push the upper push bar over the lower push
bar (Fig. 7) and screw together as shown in Fig. 8.
Then attach the power cable to the push bar (Fig.
10/Item A) using the cable clips (Fig. 9).
Mounting the grass basket (Fig. 11 to 15)
Mount the bar frame as shown in Fig. 11. Pull the
grass bag over the bar frame (Fig. 12). The grass
bag must be fastened to the bar frame as shown in
Fig. 13 and 14. Before you fit the grass bag you must
ensure that the motor is switched off and the blade is
not rotating. Lift the ejector flap (Fig. 15 / Item A) with
one hand. With the other hand, hold the grass bag
by the handle and hook it in from above (Fig. 15).
Adjusting the cutting height
Important.
Adjust the cutting height only when the
motor is switched off and the power cable has been
disconnected.
Before you begin to mow, check to ensure that the
blade is not blunt and that none of the fasteners are
damaged. To prevent any imbalance, replace blunt
and/or damaged blades. To carry out this check, first
switch off the motor and pull out the power plug.
The cutting height is adjusted as follows
(see Fig. 16):
To adjust the cutting height press the button (A)
and push down or raise the device. Once the
desired height has been set, button (A) must be
pulled up again.
Reading off the cutting height
The cutting height can be set between 25-75 mm in 6
intervals, and can be read off on the scale (Fig.
16/B).
Power supply
The lawn mower can be connected to any light
socket-outlet with a 230 Volt alternating current.
However, the socket outlet must have an earthing
contact protected by a 16 A circuit breaker.
Additionally, a residual current device (RCD) circuit-
breaker with max. 30 mA must be used!
