Exhaust Vent System Installation (OUTDOOR BOILERS)

The exhaust vent should extend a minimum of 12 inches above the hood or at least two (2) feet above
the highest part of any independent structure within ten (10) feet of the vent.
The exhaust vent may ONLY terminate through a wind and vent cap and must be supported
independently from the boiler.
Boiler clearance for combustibles / non-combustibles should be maintained per
Section 2.4.2.
For outdoor installation, the boiler is suitable for use with a conventional venting system.
The combustion air opening shall NOT have any vent material added to it and must be operated as
received from the factory.
Note:
DO NOT PENETRATE THE CASING OF THE BOILER THROUGH THE USE OF SCREWS
OR OTHER OBJECTS. DOING SO MAY COMPROMISE THE OUTDOOR INTEGRITY OF THE
BOILER.
