OPERATION
Personal protective equipment
•
Wear protective gloves.
•
Wear protective goggles. Flying shavings can cause injury.
•
Wear hearing protection for protection from continuous noise in the work place.
•
Wear dust mask for protection from airborne dust.
Check whether the type of the plug corresponds with the type of the socket.
The data on the nameplate must correspond with the actual power supply voltage.
Warning! Risk of injury! Make sure that the On/Off switch (9) is not pressed down or
locked by the setting button (5). Pay attention when working that the air vents are not
covered up or congested.
Switching on
Press the switch (9) and hold it. The rotation speed depends on the pressure and the actual speed limiter
(10) position – light pressure means lower speed, further pressure means higher speed.
Switching off
Release the switch (9).
Switching permanent run on
Press the switch (9) fully, push the locking button (5) and release the switch. This will lock the switch and
keep the machine running. Locking is only possible with right running direction (drilling).
Switching permanent run off
Press the switch (9) again and release it. The machine will stop.
Warning! Risk of injury! Should the power tool fall out of your hand during permanent
operation, it will not be automatically switched off. In this case, immediately pull out
the power plug from the power outlet to safely switch the tool off.
Gear selection
Two different rotation ranges can be set using the gear selection switch (8).
Gear 1:
Low rotation speed range 0-1000/min, intended for working with large drilling diameters or for
screws. This gear has approximately double the torque compared to Gear 2.
Gear 2:
High rotation speed range 0-2900/min, intended for working with small drilling diameters.
Torque is normal in this gear.
Speed control
The maximum speed can be pre-set by rotating the speed limiter ring (10). The on/off switch (9) can then
only be pressed up to the specified speed.
