TURN OFF POWER. Turn OFF power to
circuit at main circuit breaker or fuse box.
CAUTION
Do not rely on wall switch alone to turn o
ff
power. See Fig. 1

ATTACH CROSSBAR.
Remove the crossbar
from behind
the lamp fixture. You will need to
loosen the two decorative nuts on
the front of the fixture to remover
the crossbar. Store the two decor-
ative cap nuts(D) in a safe place as
they will be needed later to mount
the light fixture after the crossbar is
installed. Attach the crossbar (C) to
the junction box with the screws (E)
provided. Adjust the length of the
studs if necessary. and secure them
with two lock nuts

xture and the supply ground wire
to ground screw on the crossbar
(C) (ground screw maybe painted
green). Connect the white wire from
the junc
ti
on box to the white wire from
the
fi
xture by twis
ti
ng a wire nut (F) onto
the ends of the wires. Connect the
black wire from the junc
ti
on box to the
black wire on the
fi
xture by twis
ti
ng a
wire nut(F) onto the bare ends of the wires.
