TOOL MAINTENANCE 

CLEARING A FASTENER JAM

Remove Nut from rear of 
magazine

With driver blade clear, 
operator is free to remove 
jammed or bent nail

Reassemble tool, 
attached magazine to 
nose, replace cap screws 
and Nylock nut.   
Tool is ready to use. 

Remove Battery, Fuel cell 
and nails

Remove the magazine 
assembly to expose the 
back of the nose slot (Be 
careful the nail follower 
does not come out of the 
magazine channel)  

Remove 2 cap screws 
located on side of 
Magazine securing 
magazine to the nose

Push or punch the driver 
blade back to top rest 
position, using a long 
punch (if needed)

CLEANING THE AIR FILTER

Tap filter gently against 
timber to remove dust

Use a flat bladed screw 
driver to remove cap

Cleaner/Degreaser or soap 
and water restores the filter

Filter will look like new

FIRING THE TOOL 

Tool Working Correctly

PROBLEM:

 No fan and 

does not fire

SOLUTION: 

•  Check for flat battery
•  Remove and re-change battery to reset tool

PROBLEM: 

Fan runs but tool  
does not fire

SOLUTION: 

•  Check for empty fuel cell, flat battery, clogged filter or dirty spark plug
•  Check driver blade returned to top of cylinder
•  Clean and oil tool

PROBLEM: 

Fan runs, tool fires,  
no nail fed.

SOLUTION:

•  Check for jammed nail
•  Check for collation tape or nail jam, or any foreign body in magazine
•  Clean out any oil or material - do not oil magazine
