2.11.2 Tilting down

1. Slightly tilt the outboard motor up.

2. Om models equipped with atilt support lever return it to the release position.

3. Slowly tilt the outboard motor down.

4. Loose the steering friction adjuster by turning it counterclockwise, and adjust the steering friction

according to operator preference.

If there is too much resistance it could be difficult to steer, which could result in an accident.
