Tilting Up
1. Place the On-Off-Battery switch in the Off position and face the outboard motor forward. If this
is a Remote Control Model, turn the Key switch to off and remove the key.
2.
Tighten the steering friction adjuster by turning it clockwise to prevent the motor from turning
freely.
3.
Disconnect the Power Cable from the outboard motor.
4.
Hold the rear handle and tilt the outboard up fully until the tilt support lever automatically locks.
