If the inserted tool jams, switch off the 
electrical power tool immediately.

 Be 

prepared for high reaction torques as they may 
cause kickback.

  

Always keep the device clean, dry 
and free of oil or grease.

  

When carrying out work during which 
the insertion tool could hit hidden 
power cables or the power cable of the 
appliance itself, hold the appliance by 
the insulated handling surfaces.

 Contact 

with a live cable can also make metal appliance 
parts alive and cause an electric shock.

  

Keep your workplace clean and tidy.

 

Mixing materials is particularly dangerous. 
Dust from light metals can burn or explode.

  

Wait until the electrical tool has come 
to a standstill before putting it down.

 

The insertion tool could get caught up in some-
thing and this may lead to control of the electrical 
tool being lost.

Mounting or adjusting  
the additional handle

NOTE:

 For reasons of safety, you may only use 

this appliance with a properly mounted additional 
handle

Turn the wing screw

 anti-clockwise and 

mount the additional handle 

10

 in the vertical 

position. The ratchet settings have be pushed 
over the two green locking pins on the spindle 
neck of the appliance.

  

Tighten the wing screw

 by turning it clock-

wise.

NOTE:

 Adjust the additional handle 

10

 into the 

various ratchet settings according to the position 
you are working in. To do so, loosen and close the 
additional handle as described above.

  

Using the depth stop

  

Loosen the wing screw

.

  

Pull the depth stop

 out as far as necessary 

so that the distance between the tip of the drill 
and the tip of the depth stop corresponds to 
the desired drilling depth.

  

Firmly tighten the wing screw

Inserting tools

Quick-action drill chuck / spindle lock:

  

Your percussion drill has a fully automatic spin-
dle lock 

 and is fitted with a single-sleeve 

drill chuck with radial lock “Made in Germany” 
by 

  

When the motor comes to a standstill, the drive 
train will lock so that you can open the quick-
action drill chuck

 by turning it 

.

  

After you have inserted the tool you wish to 
use, turn the drill chuck 

 until you cannot 

hear any more clicks. The drill chuck will lock 
automatically. The  spindle lock releases itself 
automatically when the motor is started (by op-
eration of ON / OFF switch
