• Do not use any cleaning agents or
solvents. This could damage the power
generator irreparably.
• Make sure that no water can get into
the interior of the device.
Air filter
Clean air filter regularly, if necessary
replace.
1. For this, open the two clamps of
the air filter housing (18) and
remove the air filter cover.
2.
Remove the filter element (31).
Do not use abrasive cleaners or
petrol for cleaning the elements.
Knock out on an even surface,
if necessary. If very dirty, wash
with soapy water and then rinse
with clear water and allow to dry
in the air.
3. Assembly is carried out in rever-
se order.
Spark plug
Check the spark plug (
30) for the first
time after 20 operating hours for dirt and
clean this with a copper wire brush, if ne-
cessary.
Then service the spark plug every 50 ope
-
rating hours.
1. Pull out the spark plug connector
(29) with a turning movement
2. Remove the spark plug (30) with
the enclosed spark plug spanner
(
27).
Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
Petrol filter
The petrol filter
(
3) represents a filter
cup located directly below the fuel cap
(
1) which filters all filled fuel.
1. Move On/Off switch (
13) to the
“OFF” position.
2. Open the fuel cap (
1).
3. Remove the petrol filter (
3) and
clean in non-flammable solvent.
4. Replace petrol filter (
3).
5. Close the fuel cap (
1).
Checking the oil level
Attention! Check the oil level
before each use!
Place the power generator on an
even base.
1. Open the oil tank cap with dipstick
(

) and pull fully out of the tank.
2. To check the oil level wipe the dipstick
with a clean cloth and reinsert it into
the tank again as far as it will go (do
not screw in!).
3. Read the oil level off the dipstick
after pulling out. The oil level
must be in the marked field
between the minimum and
maximum mark. If this is not the
case, replenish the engine oil
(15 W–40) correspondingly.
4. Wipe away any spilled oil and
close the oil tank cap (

) again.
