Emptying the grass collection
bag
Illustration :
1. Remove the grass collection bag (12).
2. Hold the grass collection bag by the
handle (13).
3. Tilt the grass collection bag.
4. Empty the cut grass into a suitable cont-
ainer.
Fill level indicator
A fill level indicator is attached to the grass
collection bag (12).

Setting the cutting height
The machine has 10 positions for adjusting
the cutting height:
25/30/38/45 mm – low cutting height
55/65/70 mm – medium cutting height
80/90/100 mm – high cutting height
Illustration :
1. Grip the lever for adjusting the cutting
height (11) and move it past the ratchet
mechanism to the desired cutting
height.
The correct cutting height is between 25
and 45 mm for an ornamental lawn and
about 45 to 65 mm for a utility lawn.
A high cutting height should be
selected for the first mowing of the
season.
Inserting/removing the
mulching kit
Use the mulching kit
without
the side
grass ejector.

:
1. Remove the collection bag, if inserted.
2. Lift the impact protection (7).
3. Insert the mulching kit (21) and press it
down.
The two lugs on the mulching kit
must be seated in the two recesses
on the machine housing.

1. Lift the mulching kit (21) at the back to
lift the two lugs out of the recess on the
machine housing.
2. Remove the mulching kit (21).
Hooking in/removing the
side grass ejector
When using the side ejector chute, the cut
grass falls sideways onto the lawn.
Illustration :
1. Remove the grass collection bag (
12) (see “Hooking in/removing the
grass collection bag”).
2. Insert the mulching kit (
21) (see “In
-
serting/removing the mulching kit”).
This will prevent the clippings
from accumulating in the ejector
chute.
3. Lift the impact protection on the side
ejector (9).
4. Hook in the side ejector chute (22).
5. Place the impact protection on the side
ejector (9). The impact protection holds
the side ejector chute (22) in position.
