Appliance-specific safety instructions

Hold power tool by insulated gripping
surfaces only, when performing an
operation where the cutting accessory
may contact hidden wiring or its own cord.
Hold or touch the metal housing is not
allowed.
Cutting accessory contacting a “live”
wire may make exposed metal parts of the
power tool “live” and could give the operator
an electric shock.

the appliance.
Information on saw blades
The Parkside basic equipment includes saw blades
principally for use with wood.

You can use any saw blade provided it has
a suitable mounting.

Always remove the plug from the power
socket before working on the appliance.
Fitting/changing the saw blade
♦
Undo the locking screw using the Hex key .
♦
Insert the saw blade into the slot of the saw
blade holder . The saw teeth facing forward.
ATTENTION!
■
The saw blade must sit in the groove of
the guide roller .
♦
Retighten the locking screw using the Hex
key .
Fitting the rip fence
The rip fence can be fixed on the left- or right-
hand side of the appliance.
♦
Push the rip fence into the insertion openings .
♦
Screw both the locking screws on the insertion
openings .
♦
Set the desired cut width with the help of the
scale on the rip fence and the edge of the
insertion opening (see also Fig. A).

Tighten the two locking screws.
NOTE
►
If you want to use the rip fence for curved
cuts, insert a nail through the bottom hole,
which is in line with the saw blade. Otherwise
you get a wrong diameter.
