2. Set the desired cutting width using the
scale on the parallel stop and the reces-
ses on the bottom side of the baseplate
(see also Fig. D). The left recess on the
bottom of the baseplate is for cutting
angle setting 0°. The right recess on the
bottom of the baseplate is for cutting
angle setting 45°.
3. Retighten the butterfly screw for the par
-
allel stop holder (12).
Overload warning
• If the device is in danger of being da
-
maged, the overload warning indicator
(
19) lights up briefly. The device
turns off.
Adjusting the cutting
angle
You can set the cutting angle using the cut
-
ting angle scale (14).
1. Loosen the butterfly screw of the cutting
angle preselection (13).
2. Set the desired angle on the cutting
angle scale (14) based on the top
edge of the reference mark (29).
3. Retighten the butterfly screw (13).
When performing an angle cut, hold
the device tightly with both hands
(for better control of the device).
Adjusting the cutting
depth
Set the cutting depth approx. 3 mm
larger than the material thickness.
This achieves a clean cut.
1. Loosen the retaining screw (6) and set
the desired cutting depth on the cutting
depth scale (5) based on the reference
mark (28).
2. Retighten the retaining screw (6).
Switching on/off
Switching on:
1. Press the switch lock (1) to the left or
right and hold it down.
2. Press the ON/OFF switch (2). The LED
work light (16) lights up. Once the ma
-
chine has started up, you can release
the switch lock (1).
Switching off:
1. Release the ON/OFF switch (2).
Using the circular hand
saw
1. As described under Switching on and
off, turn on the device and place the
front edge of the baseplate (7) on the
material.
2. Align the machine to the parallel stop
(11) or a drawn line.

maintenance
Contact our Service Centre about
repairs and servicing not described
in this manual. Only use OEM
parts. Risk of injury!
Turn off the appliance and, before
doing any servicing, remove the
battery.
Perform the following cleaning work regu-
larly. This will guarantee long and reliable
use.
