The chisel 12 13 can jam during
operation . This can transfer powerful force
into both handles 3 6 . Make sure that
you stand securely at all times . Hold the
product with both hands during operation .

Switch off the product before connecting
it to the power supply . Do not apply
excessive pressure during operation . This
can create a powerful resistance force on
both handles 3 6 .
Selecting the stroke rate
(Fig . E)

Switch off the product (see “Switching on
and off”) . Wait until the chisel 12 13 stops
moving .

Rotate the speed dial 4 to select the
required stroke rate:
1
= lowest stroke rate (20 min
–1
)
6
= highest stroke rate (2100 min
–1
)

Switch on the product to check the stroke
rate .

Bring the product to the horizontal or vertical
work position(see “Working instructions”) .

The integrated vibration damper reduces
occurring vibrations .

The gripping handle 3 6 increases the
safety against slipping off and thus provides
for a better grip and handling of the product .

Horizontal work position:
Hold the
auxiliary handle 6 with the left hand and
the main handle 3 with the right hand (for
right-handed persons) .

Vertical work position:
Hold the main
handle 3 with both hands .
After use
¾
Switch off the product and disconnect it from
the mains . Let the product cool down .

Check, clean and store the product
(see “Cleaning and care”) .
