Fill level indicator (23) closed:
Grass collection box filled
The fill level indicator (23) only works
while the device is in operation.
1. Switch off the engine and wait for the
blade to come to a stop.
2. Lift the rear impact protection (20).
3. Remove the grass collection box (21).
4. To empty the grass collection box (21),
grab it at the carrying handle (22) and
the bottom handle (22a) (see also “Dis-
posal/environmental protection”).
5. Mount the grass collection box again.

out with the engine swit-
ched off and the spark plug
connector removed. Risk of
injury!
Allow the device to cool off
before performing any main-
tenance or cleaning. Engine
elements are hot. There is a
danger of burns!
Wear gloves when handling the
blade.

Cleaning and general
maintenance work
Cleaning and maintenance work on
the underside of the appliance:
Place an underlay under the petrol
lawnmower.
1. Fold the upper handlebar (1) up
2. Release the quick release levers (7) and
fold up the upper bar (4).
3. Tilt the device back so that the spark
plug faces upwards.
Make sure that a second person
holds the device because there is a
danger of tipping backwards.
Do not tilt the device to the side or
forwards. Operating fluids could
escape and the engine could be
damaged.
• Always keep the device clean. Use a
brush or cloth for cleaning, but do not
use any aggressive cleaning agents or
solvents.
Do not use any water to clean the
engine, it could contaminate the fuel
system.
• After mowing, remove any plant re-
mains using a piece of wood or plastic.
Clean the ventilation holes in particular
(
8), the ejector opening and the
blade area. Do not use any hard or
sharp objects, as these could damage
the device.
